Decision concerning who receives support is undertaken by the BSUF committee in Butansi village.

In some cases, support is given to younger children who otherwise would not be able to start their education in a primary school. However lately it is being provided increasingly to older children. It allows them, depending on their results, to continue education in high school. There are currently over 15 children in high schools.

A provision of long-term support, which goes beyond the primary school level, is one of the priorities of BSUF. Therefore, a part of you money will be used to finance education of a group of BSUF pupil who are already in high schools, where the fees are higher. It assures a sustainability of the sponsorship venture and increases chances for a real change in the lives of those young people.

We strongly encourage people involved in the project to 'stay in touch' with the kids whom they are helping, either via post or emails. In such a way, we believe, this 'project of helping' makes even more sense, becoming something more than just a mere monthly transfer of money.
