With respect to our efforts to provide help the Signum Foundation has made it a priority to reach those people who are the most in need and to provide them with permanent support. We offer not only financial support but we also provide advisory and organizational help. Offering help to the families and carers of ill children is also of great importance to us.
THE PERMANENT GROUP OF THE FOUNDATION BENEFICIARIES
The systematic help which we have been providing so far allowed us to select a group of people whom we now provide with complex support. Our special care is dedicated to disabled children, families with many children, single mothers and their children, the elderly and sick people. We constantly monitor how our beneficiaries are doing, we design different ways of helping them and we offer advice and organize therapies in specialist centers.
OPTIMALIZING OUR HELP
We make every effort to make sure that the help we provide is effective. Expanding our activity we create procedures which define conditions of applying for our support in specific areas.
We have established cooperation with specialist institutions
For that purpose we visited the rehabilitation centres which are the most frequently used for rehabilitation camps by those we support. We got to know the specific way in which these centers function and this knowledge made it easier for us to advise our applicants on the most suitable forms of rehabilitation and specialist treatment which together ensure an integrated improvement of motor skills together with emotional and social development. We established contacts which have already resulted in the exchange of experience and cooperation for the good of our beneficiaries.

PROVIDING ADVICE AND ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT
All the time we gather opinions from parents and carers and we ask them to remain in touch so that we can monitor the quality of the forms of help that they benefit from. We also offer advice and organizational help. We try to support our beneficiaries in overcoming their every day difficulties and in obtaining essential help from other public and non-public institutions. The experience we have accumulated and the contacts we have established with institutions which cooperate with us allow us to provide our beneficiaries with the best specialist help.
RESULTS
We have come to see many positive results of our work. We are extremely delighted to see tangible success: specialist therapies, rehabilitation, medical treatment and surgical operations which resulted in positive outcomes and definite achievements about which we are being informed with happiness. The results include improvement in the social functioning of individual children and young people.
We have also become aware that success does not only mean improvement but also being able to sustain the present psycho-physical state in contrast with regression which frequently is the case with chronic illnesses and multiple disabilities. The support given to the families has a significant value and great importance.
